The Uniform Plumbing Code, Edition of 2003, for the practice of plumbing, including the installation, maintenance, extension, and the alteration of all pipes, fixtures, appliances and appurtenances in connection with sanitary sewers and public and private water systems, the same being a standard code, shall be and is hereby incorporated by reference herein as the plumbing code of the City. The code shall be in the minimum standard for all except as hereinafter provided. Two (2) copies of the Uniform Plumbing Code shall be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk and kept available for inspection by the public at all reasonable business hours.  The filed copies of the standard code shall be marked “Official Copy as Incorporated by the Code of the City of Mound City.”

The governing body of the City shall designate the plumbing inspector, or his agent, who shall be responsible for the enforcement of the provisions of this article.
